The interior theme of Tutto Mondo creates a very old and rustic atmosphere. Copper pots hang from the ceiling in all shapes and sizes. Italian wine bottles adorn a wall ledge throughout the restaurant. A combination of plaster and straw was mixed together to create a unique texture on the walls, then softly painted to warm the atmosphere. Wood tables with straw covered chairs rest upon a beautiful old tiled floor. In the back corner of the restaurant is a charming Carmel rock fireplace, which can be enjoyed by everyone.

I, Michelle Mondo, along with my mother, Nadia Mondo, worked very hard to make the restaurant what it is today. In my opinion, when it comes to cooking, Mamma is number one and I have been very fortunate to learn from her . Born and raised in the city of La Spezia , Italy, she was taught to cook by her mother and grandmothers. Using our family recipes, experiences and ideas, Mamma and I teamed up to create our extensive menu. Every item from pasta to pasta sauce, pizzas and antipasti to desserts are made daily with the freshest ingredients, We also offer an outstanding French, Italian and Californian wine list.
